Essential Tips for Keeping Your Wig Beautiful

Daily Care 💫

🔁 Gently shake your wig before wearing to restore its natural volume.
👤 Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to detangle, starting from the ends and working upward.
Avoid combing your wig when wet, as this can cause fiber damage.
Keep your wig away from sources of heat (ovens, open flames, hairdryers, curling irons, or straighteners).

Washing Instructions 💧

🛁 Wash every 8–12 wears or when buildup is visible.
🧼 Fill a basin with cool water and add a small amount of synthetic wig shampoo.
🧾 Submerge the wig and gently swirl for 1–2 minutes. Do not rub or twist.
🧽 Rinse thoroughly in cool water.
🛀 Apply synthetic wig conditioner if desired, rinse again in cool water.
🛑 Gently blot excess water with a towel. Do not wring.
🏁 Place the wig on a wig stand to air dry completely. Make sure the lace front is not folded or creased.  Avoid direct sunlight.

Styling & Storage 👗

🦴 Style only with fingers or tools specially designed for synthetic wigs.
🚮 Use wig-safe sprays and products. Standard hair products may damage the fibers.
🛎 Store your wig on a stand or in a breathable bag to help retain its shape.
🌡 Keep away from humidity and excessive dust.

Extra Tips 🎁

Avoid sleeping, swimming, or showering while wearing your wig.
🧿 If tangling occurs at the nape, gently detangle with fingers or a wide-tooth comb.

Heat Styling Instructions 🔥

Heat-Friendly Fibers

Heat-friendly fibers will begin to frizz, stiffen, and clump over time.  Heat must be applied to maintain the softness and life of the fibers.  Always start with a clean, dry or slightly damp, and detangled wig.

🪄 For heat-friendly synthetic wigs, use only low to medium heat settings—never exceed manufacturer’s recommendations or 350°F (180°C), whichever is lower

🫧 Always ensure the wig is clean and dry before applying heat.

👩🔬 Section the hair and style only small portions at a time, using a flat iron, curling wand, or blow dryer designed for synthetic fibers.

🧊 Allow each styled section to cool completely before touching or re-styling to help set the shape.

🫙 Consider using a heat protectant spray formulated for synthetic hair, if available, or spritz with water.

🔍 Test heat on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure safe results.

Non Heat-Friendly Fibers

🌫️ Use a handheld steamer designed for synthetic hair to refresh and smooth your wig—never use direct heat tools.

🚫 Do not use flat irons, curling wands, or blow dryers on non heat-friendly wigs, as high temperatures can damage the fibers.

🫧 Place the wig on a mannequin head or wig stand to maintain its shape while steaming.

↘️ Hold the steamer about 6–8 inches away from the hair and gently move it along the length to release tangles, eliminate frizz, or reshape curls.

👐 Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to gently style the wig while it is still damp with steam.

🕒 Allow the wig to air dry completely before wearing or further styling.

⚠️ Always test steam on a small, hidden section first to check for any adverse reaction.
